The New, Restorative Reality in Your Healthcare Spaces

AUDIOBREEZE —
When nature sounds have healing power

In healthcare spaces, the atmosphere in the rooms determines how people feel. Patients enter clinics with uncertainty, stress, or anxiety. Nursing staff work under considerable pressure and rarely find moments of genuine recovery. This is precisely where audiobreeze™ intervenes: we bring the calming power of nature into medical environments — not as music, but as highly realistic, three-dimensional nature sound atmospheres that act on the nervous system and perceptibly transform spaces. No pills. No invasion. Just the healing power of nature sounds.

Why Nature Sound Works —
and Why AUDIOBREEZE Is Different

Humans have responded positively to nature sounds since time immemorial. When we hear birdsong, we feel safe. When a stream murmurs, our stress level drops.

audiobreeze™ harnesses these deeply embedded mechanisms — yet at a quality far exceeding conventional audio solutions, internet offerings, and playlists. Our 3D nature atmospheres:
  • Activate the parasympathetic nervous system, responsible for relaxation and regeneration
  • Reduce activity of the sympathetic nervous system, which triggers stress responses
  • Demonstrably lower anxiety, stress, and restlessness
  • Promote faster recovery and improved wellbeing

Studies* demonstrate effects including reduced blood pressure, lower stress markers, improved mood, and even diminished pain perception. These scientifically evidenced benefits make audiobreeze™ avaluable component of modern, biophilic healthcare spaces.

We Recorded the Nature
Atmospheres Ourselves

Using specialist 8-channel microphones and recording equipment, we have captured 3D soundscapes in mountains, forests, lakeside landscapes, and many other locations across the globe — exclusively for audiobreeze™. These recordings allow us to achieve a highly immersive, spatial, three-dimensional rendition of sound that approaches the original with disconcerting fidelity.

How AUDIOBREEZE
Transforms Healthcare Spaces

Waiting Areas
Silence or noise creates tension. Our soundscapes provide a warm, nature atmosphere that calms patients and quiets the mind. Smaller spaces feel subjectively larger and more welcoming.

Patient Rooms
Patients can take an auditory ‘nature bath’ in their room — calming, inspiring, and conducive to faster recovery.

Staff Rooms
Nursing staff recover more quickly and effectively. Even a few minutes in a nature sound environment can reduce stress and promote regeneration.

Sedation, Recovery & Dialysis Rooms
The subtly enlivened sound environment stabilises patients, reduces anxiety, and supports a calmer treatment situation.

Therapy Rooms
Whether promoting relaxation, concentration, or mental stability, the soundscapes support therapeutic processes in a perceptible way.

Care Homes & Nursing Facilities
For people who can no longer venture into nature, nature is brought audibly into the room — realistically, soothingly, and with dignity.

Emergency Admissions
Nature sounds act in a calming, antidepressant, and potentially analgesic manner — providing relief for staff as well as patients.

Corporate Relaxation & Recovery Rooms
audiobreeze™ 3D nature soundscapes calm within minutes, allowing employees to recover in a short period of time.

Spa & Wellness Areas
A highly realistic 3D nature soundscape in a sauna or relaxation room creates a unique and restorative experience — or even a dedicated space in which guests can enjoy a fully immersive ‘high-end audio forest bath’.

Research & Partnerships

audiobreeze™ collaborates with leading institutions including:
  • Cantonal Hospital Baselland (KSBL)
  • University of Basel
  • Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU)
