When listening to highly realistic, three-dimensional natural atmospheres, something happens to the patients and to us: we relax within seconds!
These soundscapes have been linked with positive associations since time immemorial. We bring the vitality and calming power of nature into health & waiting rooms, patient rooms, treatment rooms and retirement homes.
You are not listening a forest - you are IN THE FOREST.
Thanks to their breathtaking real three-dimensional audio quality, natural atmospheres have scientifically proven neurological and psychological effects that have a positive impact on mental state, well-being and health.
AUDIOBREEZE in the healthcare sector

Patients who come to the clinic or practice feeling stressed or anxious are quickly calmed by the natural soundscape of AUDIOBREEZE. The patients' ears are offered a pleasant experience that distracts them from the carousel of thoughts. They immerse themselves mentally in the natural scenery and relax.
This makes it easier and less time-consuming for nursing and staff if patients are less stressed. In addition, the natural atmosphere can help patients to recover more quickly and thus reduce the length of their stay.
AUDIOBREEZE can also have a regenerating effect on staff in common rooms. Staff can recover more quickly during their break. In addition, the image of the healthcare facility benefits from this unique, effective and innovative customer and patient experience.
Patients and staff feel more comfortable.

Active stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system
Studies* show that highly realistic 3D natural atmospheres can promote improved recovery and general well-being as a stress-reducing measure in medical environments. These sounds can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and reduce the activity of the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body's stress response. Sound experiences can stimulate the body to regenerate and reduce stress.

Research
In a research projects with the Cantonal Hospital Baselland KSBL and Prof. Michael Hirschmann of the University of Basel and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts HSLU,
we are currently investigating further effects of AUDIOBREEZE natural atmospheres in the medical field.
We have also had a comprehensive scientific research project carried out. We are happy to make this available.

Biophilic design
This is why three-dimensional soundscapes have a fundamentally different effect on our brain and our experience than mono or stereo sound, which only reproduces reality in an artificial way. AUDIOBREEZE creates a sound experience that corresponds to listening in real nature. The spatial representation of sounds stimulates the limbic system and creates a much more intense feeling of immersion. It allows the listener to literally immerse themselves in nature and establish a deeper connection with it.
We at AUDIOBREEZE have recorded the various natural atmospheres ourselves; with special 8-channel microphones and recording devices. In the mountains, in the forest, in seascapes and many other places around the world. This allows us to achieve a spatial, three-dimensional reproduction of the sound that is surprisingly close to the original.
Individual elements of the natural atmospheres are constantly recombined using an algorithm. So that the soundscape - as in nature - always sounds different and never repeats itself.
Biophilic design is a concept used in the construction industry to improve the connection of inhabitants with the natural environment through the use of direct nature, indirect nature and spatial and local conditions.
The 3D nature atmospheres from AUDIOBREEZE recreate the natural and authentic listening experience in our world. Sounds of nature always have a positive connotation: When you hear the birds, all is right with the world - when it gets quiet, something is wrong. In addition, we have been hearing nature spatially and three-dimensionally since time immemorial - from all sides. This experience is also deeply rooted in us.
